ANOTHER GOOD REASON TO AVOID V FOR VENDETTA

WTF?

I got snookered by your announcement in March that your blog was going into hypersleep, sent you a tasteful but heartfelt goodbye email (to which you didn't respond, but hey, you're a guy, so I didn't really expect anything) and erased you from my Favorites list, sad but resigned that BA was disappearing. Now I find that you're back again (sans notification, thank you very much) and I've been missing out. WTF? In your absence I've been reduced to visiting The Malcontent. Don't you know what psychic trauma you induce by this "here I am one minute now I'm gone another minute now I'm back without telling you" schtick? I'm gonna have trust issues now for weeks.

But I forgive you because you make me spew coffee on my keyboard better than anyone else does. I may even drop a few shekels in your almsbox...as long as you promise never again, never, to use money to buy Barbra memorabilia.

I'm glad you're back. You're cheaper than Xanax...and I mean that in more ways than two.

"I forgive you because you make me spew coffee on my keyboard better than anyone else does."

If by coffee, you mean spooge, ditto.

I love how you leave extra jewels for us in the comments sections of the links you give. It's that extra touch that make BA the thinking man's blog.

Aww, I liked V for Vendetta. It wasn't a perfect movie, but it was fun.

Really Josh? How does it feel to be in bed with Rosie?

I think it was Truman Capote who, while making a catty comment about the work of some other low-flying literary figure (Mailer, perhaps), said "That's not writing, it's typing."

Having been exposed to way too much Rosieverse via your links I'm moved to paraphrase the bitchy little scribbler: That's not poetry, it's abusive carriage control.
