How did my kid's pictures get there? Aren't they cute?

Wow, that's pretty close to child pr0n.
My mind is blown away that parents could do this to a kid. But, then again, maybe the fact I don't understand this practice is one reason I'm not having kids.

Pity poor little Narek Sahakyan. What sort of future does that child have in store?

He's also scheduled to show up someday as the subject of Armenia's version of E True Hollywood story.

Holy f*ck. Why do they always ape the very worst aspects of American culture? Imagine this country blessed with the legacy of Shakespeare, Milton, Locke and Johnson opting instead for organ meat pies.

Hope they don't go to Bahrain any time soon, that's gotta be what Michael Jackson's dreams look like. (Yes, I'm talking to you, Little Captain Eo.)

I love it! It's so reminiscent of the American southern tradition of kid pageants. It's hardly child abuse if the child doesn't feel abused; in fact, they're loving it. Kid pageants are so common in Latin American pageants yet you don't hear negative criticisms about them. I'd rather have my kid join a pageant than some junior league baseball where the parents literally insult or even hurt each other in front of the kids.
