SILENCE OF THE CHICKS
Defense says Lynndie England 'Not Right', claims was traumatized by growing up in chicken-motif house of horrors. Shocking evidence here - not for faint of heart. Can you count the chickens?

If I'm not mistaken, one of them was a small version of the dreaded dress-up goose you've discussed here before: that gave us all nightmares.

I see at least 8 chickens. But, then again, I'm usually seeing chickens, sometimes they're imaginary.

I know she did wrong, but I really feel sorry for her. What se did wouldn't be worth a second look in most New York drinking and dancing establishments (I can't even fathom a guess about San Fran clubs).

Is this an example of chickens coming home to roost?

Yeah, the poor thing loved chickens all her life, until that year she went to Spain for the Running of the Roosters. She never did get over all those cocks running everywhere. Her friends and family whisper of a secret, they say she wasn't the same when she came back...

You might have hit on something, Imop. Maybe she has a Rooster complex. Did she train in Central America? If so, she might have also been in violation of the Hatch Amendment...
In all seriousness though, those chickens reminded me of a german expression: "to have a bird" which is to say one is crazy.
